  • why i love our old japanese traditional home and obsessed about it that I look forward to waking up in the morning, figuring out which chores should I do first and not knowing the time passes by. My plants, the repairs, the DIY projects that I have in mind are endless. And strangely, my body keeps moving according to my plans. Older people have the time to relax going to vacation. But in my case, with my husband's condition, it is very limited so I make our home as comfortable as possible so that we won't feel going anywhere for a vacation.

So soothing the music 🎶 that plays in the background. And how beautiful the greenery of the plants, both inside and out 🍃🥑🍃❤🎵

Hello, Mary... thank you for your kind words. Yes, at least he is able to walk from and to the bathroom and bed. He is partly blind due to the unknown brain illness that damaged his vision. Glad to see your name here again.

Your home and garden look very inviting, pretty and cozy. Loved how you cooked the fish, but I'm a chef, always interested in food. Just found your channel, I will follow your journey from New Zealand 😊

Yes, indeed. I sometimes get two for the smaller/cheaper and bigger/pricier. But when I got home and cut open, the smaller is the better. Thanks, Nette.

Love your house and surrounding. Plants keep your house cool and add beauty.
I am also taking avocado almost every day. Just taking half every morning, plain nothing added. Would love to try your recipe. If you don't mind may I know what you add into your avocado. TQ.

I am adding fresh milk and a bit of sugar. We also eat it with wasabi and soy sauce. My husband's preference. Fresh cow's milk in our region is so nice. Yes, half of avocado a day is very good as suggested by doctors here. Thank you, Beth for participating in the comment section.

Beautiful house and garden. ❤ It is so nice that you have your caption in katakana and hiragana. I can replenish my reading. I want to hear you speak in Japanese though. But it’s alright if not. ASMR is also beautiful. ❤ Thank you!
